Action Pathways Staff Joins Forces to Help  Build Employee’s Home During Habitat 24 
Staff Members will Help Build the Home of Head Start Employee in 24 Hours  

FAYETTEVILLE, NORTH CAROLINA – Members of the Action Pathways family will work together to help build a new home for one of their own. Deborah McKinnon, who works as an employee with Head Start, an Action Pathways program, has been chosen as the recipient of a new Habitat for Humanity Home in the B Street neighborhood. The inaugural "Habitat 24" will take place on Saturday, July 8 with two Action Pathways teams assisting in the build.  

WHO:  Two Action Pathways teams with five members each for a total of 10 employees, working to build the home of one of their fellow staff members.

WHAT:  Habitat 24 is a 24-hour event, where Action Pathways employee, Deborah McKinnon, will become the new homeowner of a house in the B Street area.

WHEN:  Saturday, July 8 at 9:00 a.m.

WHERE:  601 Link Street, Fayetteville, NC 28301

WHY:  Action Pathways’ mission is to better the lives of those in Cumberland and the surrounding counties by helping them find a path to economic stability and financial security. As such, to help one of its very own family members receive a new home is at the heart of what the organization is all about.
